What if there were a merging of the fictional world - the characters, places and storylines contained within the pages - and the real world. This was the spark, that became an idea, that became Fictionalities.
I have always loved the idea of Escape Rooms. You're placed in a room behind a locked door. Everything you need to solve the puzzle and unlock the door is at your disposal. But you just need to know where to look. Fictionalities books are like an escape room without a room. Everything you need to solve the puzzle is within the stories themselves.
As with all puzzles, once they're solved they are obvious. But these puzzles are not your standard solve-in-30-minutes escape room fare. Some may be solved on the day of release, and some of them may never be solved (now there's a challenge!) Each Fictionalities book has a specific prize for the first person who solves the puzzle of that collection.
But it's not all about the prize. Although it will be inidicated on the website whether or not the puzzle has been solved, even if you're not the first to solve it, there's still the challenge and the satisfaction of doing so.
